SPONTANEOUS ÉTRETAT SHOOT

In this section, I share behind-the-scenes moments, shoot preparations, creative processes, and stories from the set — offering you a deeper understanding of how I work and what goes into each image beyond the final frame.

I recently traveled to Étretat — one of the most picturesque places on the Normandy coast. As always, I had no clear plans, just a few pieces in my suitcase "in case a shoot happens."

I'm especially drawn to people with expressive, distinctive features — faces that carry stories, that have depth. Maybe it's because I see something similar in myself. In my work, I seek not only visual beauty, but the inner world that comes through in a glance, a gesture, or quiet presence.

Completely by chance, I came across Dasha's Instagram — and was struck by her texture, energy, and natural presence. It turned out she was also in Étretat for just a couple of days, shooting a campaign for her own candle brand — a brand I already knew and admired for its style and refined aesthetic. We connected, and a creative match instantly happened.

What followed was a quick but incredibly inspiring shoot on the white cliffs. Strong winds, fragile light, chalk dust all over our clothes — and yet, it only made the moment more alive. Dasha turned out to be exactly the kind of person I've been wanting to photograph: someone who reflects depth, honesty, and inner strength.

Very soon, I'll be sharing the results on Instagram. Trust me — it's going to be wow.
